The Association of Licensed Adult Entertainment Venues of Scotland was created to:
- promote good practice in this part of the hospitality industry
- ensure the safe running of adult entertainment venues in the public interest
- protect the interests of all those employed in the legitimate licensed adult entertainment business
- present a united voice for our members
Association members adhere to a strict code of conduct as a minimum requirement for lap dancing clubs. They also adhere to conditions laid down by individual licensing boards, which take account of local needs and issues.
Our members are proud of their exemplary 18-year record in preventing crime, disturbance, nuisance or any other public harm associated with licensed premises. The ALAEVS are determined to maintain a record that is the envy of the hospitality industry.
